Pure gratitude and hope
This special art piece was inspired by the experience of 5 survivors of Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma, including myself. ESS is an extremely rare form of cancer, and as most rare diseases this kind of cancer hasn’t gotten enough research or resources to have adequate treatment for the ones suffering it. This piece brings awareness to this problem, and was specifically created to participate in the Rare Artist Contest. If selected as one of the finalists a public vote would be held in November through social media, and if you.. the public vote for it I could be able to be selected to go to the Capitol to publicly advocate for resources and treatment, and let the lawmakers know the reality of facing life with a rare disease.
